Hockey Game

Jason had to go to a Cedar Rapids RoughRiders hockey game last night because they were doing a promo for ALS (the coach's father died of ALS a few years ago). The team wore special pinstriped jerseys (in honor of Lou Gehrig) during the game and then the jerseys were auctioned off after the game to raise money for ALS, or Lou Gehrig's Disease.

Brady came with us. Mark's brother and family live near Cedar Rapids, so they dropped their son, Levi, off to watch the game with Brady and then come home with Brady for a few days. Brady and Levi are the best of buddies. Two peas in a camo/wrestling/hunting/outdoors-loving pod. They LOVE getting to be together. Brady was way more excited about seeing Levi than watching hockey!

But, the boys did enjoy the hockey game.We got to watch the game from a suite (fun!). Ricochette, the team mascot, even came to our suite. An oreo twisted frosty when we hit the road to come home . . . at 10:00p!
