Abram's old room was navy, deep red and grey. I liked them but was ready for a change and wanted to do something fun. Orange it was! I re-did the "abram" canvases I made for his room in our old house. They used to be red letters and I painted over them with dark grey so that 1. they would match his new room and 2. they will most likely match whatever room the boys have for years to come (since there is a 99% chance grey will be involved at some level!)
The wall color is High Speed Steel (Lowes) with Roasted Squash (Lowes) to match the orange in the bedspreads and bulletin boards. The orange seemed REALLY bright when I first painted it but is a very fun addition to the room and matches well.
Isaiah got his name on the wall, of course!
Abram's bed used to be his crib converted into a toddler bed. But my mom and I found his current bed frame on the side of the curb on my street. It was in good condition and matches Isaiah's bed (a great hand-me-down!) nearly perfect. Score!
A great way to use some of Jason's old St. Louis Cardinals baseballs.
Bulletin boards courtesy of Miss. Jessie Wheeler (again). Love them! Abram's birth family in different frames that I had and spray painted silver. By the way, we are flying down to see them in a month. SO EXCITED!! And the lamp was a $2 garage sale snag that I spray painted silver. It is hard to find a good looking lamp that says, BOY but this "lantern" lamp perfectly fit the bill.
