Baseball and Braids

In the spirit of keeping up with photos for my photo album (that I will turn this into at some point), I need to catch up on some pictures from the past couple weeks.

Lots of baseball in the back yard.

Two boys with baseball helmets and swim trunks on is about the cutest thing!

The boys wanted to help my brother and my dad way more than was helpful while they were here a couple weeks ago. Mitch and Dad were good sports and let them help a little.

Dad took us all to Hickory Park before he and my brother left after finishing the deck. The kids all happened to be sitting in a row so I quickly found my camera to catch it.

The week my dad and brother were here also happened to be the week I worked on Claire's hair. I did the smallest braids I have done in her hair to date and I did them well (read: 15+ hours!). I'm not sure I will do them so small again simply for the fact that it took SO LONG, but I am glad to have done them very small on her at least once (her hair is way thicker than Zoe's).
There are A LOT of braids going on in her hair! It has been almost two weeks now and the braids are holding up (still looking nice) much better than any other time I've done braids. Finally, progress in the hair department!

Ever the little helpers, the boys helped me make eggs and toast one day last week.

Claire is so pretty...you have beautiful girls!! And great job on the braids! I still haven't tried braids yet - I've just done twists because I'm too afraid to try braids!

Next time you plan to braid give me a call and maybe we can split up the work!
Looks great though :)
