One Week From Tomorrow . . .

OUR KIDS ARE COMING HOME!!

Yes, that is right. Next Wednesday, October 26th, at 12:30p (or so) we will see our children face-to-face. Three beautiful children will be fatherless no more. Oh, the joy!

Yesterday morning I found out that the third approval wasn't officially done yet, which was disappointing. But, by noon, I received another email telling us to plan to be at the airport in Chicago at 12:30 on October 26th. Now, how is that for a fun, surprise ending (especially since I was planning on them coming home sometime after November 1st)?! I waited to post it in blogland until the plane tickets were purchased today.

I spent this past weekend getting all my ducks in rows so I feel pretty good about where we are with the things we have left to do. And I fully recognize this may be the last week of my life that I feel "under control."

I'm off to get some more things checked off my list while Abram is at my sister's for the afternoon.

That is wonderful news! Have a great week preparing as much as you can for their arrival . . . and try to rest too! Can't wait to hear about how God works through you to meet the needs and desires of these dear children. You are going to be great parents to them!

So thrilled for all of you....this has been a long and winding journey. Faith, love and patience at their best! PS- sorry about the "rocks" today...I am still giggling aboout Abram's label for Navin's antics. I told Brian it was like taking a toddler to visit someone...you never know what they might do. I was sooo embarrassed and you handled it with such ease.
CONGRATS again on the great news..!!!!
