This picture is from the day we got a little bit more snow last week. I don't remember the day, I just remember screams and squeals from several kids running down the hall after they woke up and saw "big snow," in their words. If only they could really see a "big snow." I heard we got some more snow the other day/night, but we have been out of town the past few days . . . more on that in the next post.
I had to grab my camera when I saw these two standing like this (looking at pictures on my computer).
It is a pretty cool thing to daily be able to see God's grace in my girls' lives . . . Besides the fact that He gives them life and breath, that He gave them a family forever and that He is healing them . . . He gave them each other. I cannot tell you the number of times I think about this gift they have been given. It is a rare and precious treasure.
Not to be outdone by the boys. They are a gift to each other, too . . . only they don't know it, nor act like it much lately. :) (And that is okay!)
This is a great example of the girls living out the preschool days they missed out on . . . Zoe found letter magnets and made everyone's names in our family on the frig.
And was quite excited about her accomplishment!I absolutely love, love, love that the girls are getting to relive the preschool days they missed. It is really fun to see. And I know it is bringing much healing to their lives. However, the girls are also mature beyond their ages in some ways, too (I see this more and more). It is an interesting dance between many stages each day, which I'm still trying to adjust to.
