The Eve of Christmas Eve

We brought up the extra mattress for Jason's mom and husband to spend the night Friday night. On their own initiative the girls ended up taking a nap on it while the boys also napped. I was very thankful they all took naps before our first big Christmas celebration this night.

After dinner the kids all watched Esmerelda (yes, our girls' 4th time this week!). It was so fun to get a picture of all the cousins (except Brady, who was with the adults playing cards) watching a movie.

Afterward Isaiah helped Grammy work on the eggbake for breakfast the next morning.

 

The kids did really well at Mark and Kate's with all the family Friday night. The night was not without some crazy (i.e. scared) and mad (i.e. sad) behaviors but overall, I couldn't have asked for it to go better. The girls interacted with Kate's girls the best they have so far. After dinner there was an all-out game of chase by all the kids around and around the house and then a huge wrestling match which ended in Zoe and Brady taking on one another. Fortunately no one got hurt. :)
