Pictures
Last night while the girls were helping me make dinner (and before Jason was home), here is how the boys kept themselves busy . . . Yes, that is my entire silverware/utensil drawer empty with the contents on the counter. Oh well! It kept them busy for quite awhile. Isaiah actually did a decent job of putting a lot of it away with my help.
The girls were really wanting more Barbie clothes so I took them out to Kates this past Saturday and she gave us some of her girls' Barbie clothes. When my girls brought them home, they put the first half of the clothes in a small bucket of water to "wash" them and then hung them to dry on the towel rack. They did it again the next day with the second half of the clothes. I love their imaginative play!
Bath time after hair cuts on Sunday (which explains the sucker in Abram's mouth).
The matching Thomas p-pops (I found at Goodwill in Waukee)!
Typical picture at our house. Abram has easily picked up the youngest child role by being the family funny guy. He loves to do silly things (especially at meal times when we are all together) to make his brother and sisters laugh. The other night while we were reading the Bible to the kids, Abram put on a pair of pink, star sunglasses with a plastic clip in his mouth and we were all laughing hysterically (I had tears running down my face, I was laughing so hard).
Not the clearest picture, but the start of some sibling LOVE.
We let the boys wrestle but tried to teach them how to wrestle without killing each other . . . which primarily means teaching Abram to not grab a hold of his brother around the neck.
Sweet kiss
I have no idea what they were trying to say with their fingers.
